Terms of Service

By using Architect Within (the website at architectwithin.com or the Architect Within iOS app) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by Bram Amine, based in the Netherlands.

Architect Within is a self-reflection tool centered on shadow work and the dark night of the soul. It offers shadow cards, an archetype quiz, a private journal, written content, and audio sessions.

It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care. The content is for personal reflection only. If you are in crisis or in need of mental health support, contact a licensed professional or a local crisis line. In the Netherlands: 113 Zelfmoordpreventie (call 113). In the US: 988. In the UK: Samaritans on 116 123.

You must be 16 or older to use Architect Within. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. We use email magic links instead of passwords. Anyone with access to your inbox can sign in as you.

The website sells digital products (workbook, bundle) and a subscription (The Inner Architect) via Stripe. Prices and product details are shown on the page before purchase. Digital products are delivered immediately. By purchasing a digital product you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law does not apply once delivery has started, in line with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

The iOS app offers auto-renewable subscriptions. The following disclosures are required by Apple and apply to all in-app subscriptions:

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The 7-day free trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Current pricing: $12.99 per month or $79 per year. Prices may differ in your local currency as set by Apple.

Website purchases: we offer a 14-day refund window for one-time digital purchases if you have not actively consumed the product (workbook downloaded, audio session played). Email hallo@architectwithin.com. Subscriptions on the website can be cancelled at any time and access continues until the end of the paid period.

App Store purchases: refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. Request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or republish content from Architect Within.
• Use the service to harm yourself or others.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or overload the service.
• Reverse-engineer or extract the AI prompts behind generated content.

All written content, audio sessions, shadow cards, quiz questions, and visual design are owned by Architect Within. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use them for your own reflection. You retain ownership of anything you write into your journal.

The service is provided as is. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Architect Within is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any emotional, psychological, or therapeutic outcome arising from use of the service. Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. You can stop using the service at any time. Account deletion can be requested via email.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to a different forum.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
